Colour palette options

With the colour palette options, you can apply a consistent colour scheme throughout your report. Once you've applied a colour palette, any charts or pages you have in the report, or new ones that you add, will use the colour scheme without any need to edit the individual page or chart.

Note: The colour palette options do not apply to the Cover Page or Table of Contents pages. The colours for these pages are set at the practice level using the Practice Settings and Report Cover options.

To choose a colour palette

  1. Open the Customise Layout tab, then click Show colour settings.

  2. Open the Colour Palette drop-down list, then choose the palette you want to use.

  3. From the confirmation window, click Change Colour Palette.

To revert to your original colour settings

If you want to go back to the original colours for your report, before any colour palette settings were applied, you can restore the automatic backup of the report.

Note: When you restore a report backup, the report reverts to the format held before any colour palette settings were applied. This means that any changes made to the report since that point are removed, including custom charts, colour changes and new pages.

  1. Open the Customise Layout tab, then click Show colour settings.
  2. Within the colour settings panel, click Restore backup of original report.

  3. From the confirmation window, click Restore Report Backup.

The report is then restored back to the version before colour palettes were applied.
