There are 3 layouts you can choose from in Spotlight Dashboards - Classic, Resilience and Performance. To change your layout simply head to the Customise Layout tab, and choose your preferred option from the 'Choose Layout' drop-down.
Classic Layout
Change chart
From the Customise Layout tab select the 'Gallery' drop-down
Select what type of data you want to report on - the available charts will then appear in the gallery. For more information see the charts section of the Help Centre.
Click on the chart you wish to use and drag it over the tile you'd like to replace below.
If you'd like to report on other metrics, you can use our formula builder to create a fully customised chart. Select 'Custom Text and Chart' > edit > and follow our customisation guide to create your own chart.Note: You can show a maximum of 6 charts in the Classic Layout
Customise chart
From the Customise Layout tab, hover over the tile you'd like to edit
Click to 'edit'.
You'll be taken to the chart editor where you can customise the chart settings, add a narration, change the colours and type of chart.
Resilience Layout
Change the report title
From the customise layout tab, click the pencil icon next to the report title.
Type your new title in, and click anywhere on the screen for the text to save.
Change the performance metrics
From your customise layout tab, click to 'edit' a panel.
Click the 'Section Type' dropdown to select a financial or non-financial metric.
Click the 'Performance Data' to select a comparison period (Current Month or YTD versus Prior Periods or Budget).
Click to change the variance to show in dollars or percentage.
The text in the commentary and title boxes will automatically update based on your choices in steps 2-4.' You can edit/delete this text if you prefer to include your own commentary.
Click 'save' and allow the screen to refresh automatically.
Performance Layout
Change the report title & narration
From the customise layout tab, click the pencil icon next to the report title or narration
Type your new title in, and click anywhere on the screen for the text to save.
Change the bar chart performance metrics
From your customise layout tab, click to 'edit' a panel.
Click the 'Section Type' dropdown to select a financial metric.
Click the 'Performance Data' to select a comparison period (Current Month or YTD versus Prior Periods or Budget).
The text in the commentary and title boxes will automatically update based on your choices in steps 2 and 3. You can edit/delete this text if you prefer to include your own commentary.
Click 'save' and allow the screen to refresh automatically. This layout will allow you to provide commentary on non-financial data. If you'd like to visually report on non-financial categories, please use the Resilience layout.
Change commentary subject
From your customise layout tab, scroll down the page and click to 'edit' a commentary panel.
Click the 'Section Type' dropdown to select a financial or non-financial metric.
Type in your commentary and click 'save'.
Allow the screen to refresh automatically.
Delete a panel or chart
At this stage, dashboard panels cannot be deleted from a page.
