When you choose to enter data manually, you can work directly in the data grid. The accounts required for our Lite template and Advanced template are already pre-populated, but you can create others if needed.
Each account has two lines in the data grid. Actuals data can be entered onto the top line, and target data onto the bottom Target line. You may prefer to enter the Target values into the future, so that you only need to enter the actuals data each month.
To add a new account, open the tab where you want the account, and then click Add new.
A new account appears in the data grid, and you can amend the account name as needed. To ensure that the account appears where you need it on the report, please ensure that you also assign the correct report code. For details of how to do this, please refer to the following section.
Note: The report code for each account determines where the account appears on the report. If you change the report code of a default account, it will no longer appear on the default charts.
