With Spotlight, you can use the customisation options to amend the pages of the report to suit your needs. In the Profit and Loss Analysis page, this includes setting different comparison options.
Each profit and loss page can contain a maximum of 12 columns, however as you can add multiple copies of any of the standard pages, you can include several versions of the profit and loss page to ensure you show all of the information you need.

The second to last section of the comparisons drop-down list shows all of your quarterly comparison options. All comparisons are based on the report date in the Customise Layout tab.
This option shows four columns. The first column, highlighted in green, shows the current quarter actuals. The second column shows the total budget value for the current quarter. The budget values do not include any changes made since the original import. The remaining two columns show the currency and percentage variances between the actuals and the budget for the quarter.

The third column shows the total budget value for the current quarter. The last column shows the percentage of revenue for the budget value of the current quarter.
This option shows four columns, the first column highlighted in green is the value for the current quarter. The following three columns are the values for the past three quarters.
The first column in this group shows the total value for the current quarter, highlighted in green. The second column shows the percentage of revenue for the current quarter. For comparison, the next two columns shows the same information for the prior quarter.

This option shows the total value for four different quarters. The first column in the group, highlighted in yellow, is the projected values for the next quarter, based on budgets. The second column, highlighted in green, is the total value for the current quarter. The last two columns, shown in white are the total values for the previous two quarters.
