With Spotlight, you can use the customisation options to amend the pages of the report to suit your needs. In the Profit and Loss Analysis page, this includes setting different comparison options.
Each profit and loss page can contain a maximum of 12 columns, however as you can add multiple copies of any of the standard pages, you can include several versions of the profit and loss page to ensure you show all of the information you need.

The second section of the Comparisons drop-down list shows all of your two-monthly comparative options. All comparisons are based on the report date in the Customise Layout tab.
This option shows the total value of current two months, highlighted in green. It also compares this to the total budget for the same period and a currency and percentage variance between the actuals and budget. The budget values do not include any changes made after the original import.
This option shows the total value of current two months, highlighted in green. The next column shows the percentage of revenue for the current two months. The third column is the total budget for the same period. The last column is the percentage of revenue for the budget of the current two months.
This option includes four columns showing the total value of the current two month period, highlighted in green. It also shows the total values for each of the last three two-month periods.
This option shows the current two month period actuals, highlighted in green. The second column shows the percentage of revenue for the current two month period. The next two columns shows the same information but for the last two month period.
This option shows the current two month period actuals, highlighted in green, and the same period for the previous year. It also includes a currency and percentage variance between the current and past period.
This option shows the current two month period actuals, highlighted in green. Then the percentage of revenue for the current two month period. The next two columns show the same information for the same two month period from last year.
This option includes four columns, each showing two month periods. The first column, highlighted in yellow, is the total projected value for the next two month period based on your imported budget. The budget values include any changes made to budget figures since the original import. The second column is the total value of the current two month period and the remaining two columns show the total value of each of the past 2 two month periods.
